The Vinnies CEO Sleepout is a one-night national event held on one of the longest and coldest nights of the year. Across the country, hundreds of leaders in business, government and the community join forces, sleeping outdoors to support the many Australians who are experiencing homelessness. As part of their commitment, each CEO Sleepout participant raises funds to help Vinnies provide essential services to community members who are in desperate need of a safe and secure place to sleep. 

In 2023, 50 Tasmanian Sleepout participants raised approximately $154,395for local people in need.  This year, as the cost of rent and homeownership becomes increasingly unmanageable for people on low incomes, Vinnies needs to aim higher!  The 2024 Tasmanian CEO Sleep Out fundraising target is set at $200,000 – that will take a mighty effort, but it’s one that is achievable through the collective support of community that cares.
